Poor Jeff. Had such a promising career and now seems like a total bust.

Ppl making fun of a former world champion and something they probably won't ever come close to in ability, fame, or fortune. Now that's funny.

He was never great, but he did all right.

If you wanna be a king, and you end up up a noble it aint' that bad.

        Way better than most.

He rode the hype as long as he could, be wasn't unskilled.

I think most people would consider his career not half bad if they were in his shoes.

Lacy didn't quit, it had to take his corner to convince him. And even when he decided to listen to them you can tell in his face he didn't really want to stop the fight. Poor guy has the heart but just doesn't have the skills(anymore).

Like one guy said, i also tend to talk about boxers the way i would talk to them in their face(I only talk bad about Cotto because his stans get me mad) and honestly i would give Jeff mad props for his heart. I wish him the best.

Jeff has a lo more heart than most fighters. He would have finished the 12 rounds if his corner allowed it.

Jeff's a good guy. He's just done. No need to piss on his grave.

He's only 32. He can fight lesser opponents on FNF for at least one year to build his resume and confidence up, then when he's ready in about a year go up and fight b level fighters. It can happen.

His strategy to bully Roy was actually working but he didn't stay consistent with it and he let Roy have too much distance and you can't do that against Roy because then he will whoop you with his hand speed. Tarver, Johnson, and Calzaghe all swarmed him from close range, that's how they won.

Not Tarver. Tarver fought at mid range when he had him on the ropes, and even boxed a bit from the middle of the ring.
