    why do boxers start biting the air before the fight starts?

    if u look at de la hoya or pacquiao, before every fight they start biting the air like their eating a hamburger..wtf

    Streching out their jaw muscles for the punches on the chin. I don't know if it works, but it couldn't hurt.

                  They're copying that movie "Hook" based on Peter Pan, where the kids start imagining food on the table and the food appears with their imagination. But it's harder for a boxer because they have to imagine flying-food.
