do you appreciate having Filipinos in the sport?

before i found out about boxing message boards (01-02), the only peeps i could seriously talk about boxing were my dad, uncle and cousins back home and also the handful of childhood buddies that shared the same passion


with boxing forums, for this usually-homesick pinoy, its been pretty cool running into pinoys on the net...although i dont get along with some pinoys, the majority have been pretty Class A...


i know many are just PAC fans and will fade out once he hangs em up but for the past 4-5 years, its been fun being able to not just talk about boxing but about the goings-ons back home

most filipinos only know pacquiao and thats it.. and then they go and tell everyone how hes the best..

IMO, race is irrelevant to the sport of boxing. I don't care if you're white, black, yellow, brown... as long as they (fighters) give boxing fans good entertainment.
