Paulie should start a political crusade for boxing.

The things he is expressing are absolutely worthwhile, true and legitimate and he has the name recognition, a public platform and an articulate and effective style of delivering the message.

He has more than likely shot himself in the foot by talking the way he has this week for the fight, but after the fight he can become a boxing reformer assuming his career is over.

    What do you guys think?

Boxing is more corrupt than a Nigeria run by Don King who's right hand man is Frank Warren. Not much is going to change.

haha the only was to fix boxing is to remove the money grubbers and proberly train refs and judges and hold them to their actions. Maybe have fights in neutral states so the local bias isnt a factor..who knows.

John McCain had some momentum with this a few years back, where he wanted to centralize boxing authority and have uniformity throughout the sport.

Wonder what ever happened with that.

If by "politics" you mean do nothing about real issues?

              Then I guess.

His legacy as a public servant would've been secure if he cleaned up boxing.

              It was a wasted opportunity.

                  Exactly.

His legacy will be that he ran one of the most disorganized, ineffective presidential campaigns in history.

Somehow though, he still only managed to lose by 3% points, lol....

                  He could've been a contender.
