How many of the lower weight divisions could be merged?

I think it's possible to merge straw with jr fly and fly and making the smaller guys go up a few pounds but it gets a bit murky if you try to merge jr ww with ww because of the 12 pound gap between lw and ww. Thoughts?

    The divisions should be:

    Strawweight: 108
    Flyweight:114
    Bantamweight:120
    Featherweight:126
    Lightweight: 133
    Light welterweight: 140
    Welterweight: 147

There is no need for a strawweight division. Other than that, I think the weight divisions are ok. Less title claimants would be nice though.

You can't merge lower weight divisions. 3 lbs is a very big factor for smaller guys.

We need to go back to the original 8 weight classes. All this "jr" and "super" **** is ******.

no they should not be merged, boxers have to fight at the same weight give or take a couple of pounds
