Instead of the media taking Bob Arum's constructive criticisms of the abysmal performance of Nonito Donaire, they wronged the old wise man and exagerated the Filipino fighter's rather theatrical performance.

Bob Arum made an honest truthful opinion. We should take it as it is and leave Nonito Donaire to grow.

In case you forgot, Nonito Donaire made a promise that was recorded by no less than his friend examiner.com writer, Dennis Guillermo, that despite the weight difference, he would still knock him his opponent out!

Had Nonito Donaire not promised, nobody would've expected. So, who's to blame for Bob Arum not being impressed with Nonito Donaire's performance?

I wasn't impressed, my brother wasn't and online forums are buzzing with talks of Nonito being an overrated boxer.

I ask, where is the honor in running around the ring being chased by an unknown boxer he swore to knock out!

The media's overhyping Nonito Donaire by heaping praises on him for struggling to finish a job which was supposed to be a walk in the park, is doing him more harm than good.

It leaves him no room for improvement.

If Donaire turns out to be another Lumacad, Filipinos will be the laughing stock of the entire boxing world.

Nonito Donaire is a Flash in the Pan! Of course, until proven otherwise.

            Hey, about Donaire-Concepcion.

I scored it 8 rounds to 4, Donaire.

Nonito looked alot different. I dont know if his gameplan was to avoid and box or if he wasn't very focused but he definately wasn't like himself. It looked like he just wasn't into it, he was just messing around and really didn't want to be there. But it was a good showing because he completely outboxed Concepcion.

First time I have seen Donaire hurt though. It was either the 2nd or 3rd round, Concepcion caught him with a right hand. Hurt him bad enough to make Donaire avoid Concepcion heavily until he shook the cob webs out.

Also was that a slip or a down in the 12? I know the ref said it wasn't a down but right when Concepcion threw a punch, Nonito just fell back. I didn't see if his foot slipped out or not.

No less than his friend examiner.com writer who he was with during the fight quoted Nonito Donaire as saying that despite the weight difference, he will knock Concepcion just the same.

Please take note that Donaire was that Filipino lousy boxer who scored that rematch between Pacquiao and Marquez with him giving the fight to Marquez with a 144-143 score. Nonito Donaire is an anti-Pacquiao!

Filipinos will never forget when Donaire went against his father's advice and married a gold-digging nude model in the name of Rachel Marcial. They will never forget when Rachel conspired to drive Donaire's father out of their house so she could have Nonito all by herself.

Nonito Donaire turned his back on his father who was only trying to save him from Rachel Marcial's not so glorious motives.

Everybody knows that Rachel Marcial seduced Nonito Donaire to serve her moonstruck needs. Just look at the way she dresses, the company she makes, and the way she presents Donaire to the public.

Analize this: Watch the way Nonito Donaire dresses inside the ring. Notice the Red knee-high? Now, compare that to the way he dresses in public. Notice the Mafia look. Big difference, right? Well, the real Nonito is what you see inside the ring. But the Nonito you see outside the ring is what his wife is all about - social-climber!

Nonito and Rachel both know what they did. They know that they screwed it up! And I am afraid that one day when Nonito kisses the canvas, Rachel will kiss her dreams goodbye, and Nonito.
You're second post is very right in analyzing Donaire's performance. I don't know what the hell Donaire was doing in his fight with Concepcion.

But this post is garbage. First of all, none of Donaire's love life is important. Second of all, him scoring JMM-PAC 2 for JMM does not make him an "anti Pacquiao." I am Filipino and I scored that fight for JMM (by one point as well) when watching it live. I'm glad that Donaire scored that fight fairly and honestly, rather than letting his heritage cloud his judgement of the fight. Statements like that are why others hate (like xcaret) Filipino Pacquiao fans. If I'm not mistaken, he was also announcing the fight as well. More props given to him for remaining neutral, something that even Jim Lampley has a hard time doing when I'm sure he does not have the same connection to any particular fighter as Donaire does to Pacquiao.

Just leave him be. Every time he posts it's only about Nonito and his girl. But he speaks eloquent English so he must not be dumb ... just a hater with an agenda.

Score ko rin kay jmm ang 114-113 nung fight night pero nagbago nang ilang beses ko pinanood. But it's good to know Pinoys that are not biased with regards to pac.
