Both will be solid for some time, but their career will last a lot less than your average boxer. They are almost 30, by this point most good fighters are peaking, they are the new guys in town.

Yea Rigondeux is very impressive, you can jsut tell he is a cool customer and that will allow him to fight to his strengths most of the time. Against certain fighter he will have entertaining fights, but he will never be a guy that presses the action.

Not fighting once every 3 months at this point and age in his career.

              I think so.

They did right by getting him in the gym with freddie roach from the start, thats a very good thing.

And they say they are trying to get him a title shot in his 7th-8th fight, so expect to see him step up rather quickly.

His last fight I was pleased to see him land effective body punches (he knocked out the guy with a body shot). One thing about Cubans is often times as a pro they lack good body punching because in the amateurs body punching isn't focused on as much since it's all about scoring punches and headshots are easier for the judges to score so they tend to neglect body punching. Doesn't seem to be the case for Rigondeaux.

I think he's the complete package but we'll see what he's made of when he steps up.
