miguel have a decent defense but he gets hit. a slow punching margarito was able to hit him. if theres someone in that fight who wont stand in front to get hit thats pac

the third one highlighted was the same thing said when pac was about to face oscar and ricky
In all fairness though, I picked Pac to beat both soundly. The reason for me to pick Pac over Oscar was solely based on how Oscar looked against Forbes. I knew Pac was going to give him trouble. As for Hatton, I don't know why anyone would assume Hatton was going to cause problems for Pacquiao. It was a bad style match up for Ricky and we all saw what happened. One thing I didn't expect was 2nd rd KO, you gotta give kudos to Pac for that.

But with Cotto, he isn't the greatest counter puncher, but he's effective..and that's all you need to be. Cotto's a smart fighter and knows how to stick to a gameplan and also switches up when need be. Many people were doubting Cotto against speed fighters like Zab and Mosley, but what those same people didn't realize was Cotto knew how to turn the tables on them and apply pressure.

The thing about this fight as well people arent looking into is Cotto could be the one pressuring Manny all night to where he can't get off the shots he wants or at least as much. How is that so hard to ponder? JMM is great, but Cotto didn't get where he is by fighting cream puffs either.

Exactly. Hatton is 1 style but miguel is good with jab, defense. He boxes, brawls and does not show you one style. Cotto showed judah one style, mosley another style and clottey another style. With Pacquiao he showed marquez, hatton and oscar the same style...speed. It works against hatton who has no jab, no speed, etc.

I think Cotto is finally recovering mentally after the Margarito beat down. And he's on the road to getting hit ***** wired tight again. Cotto walked through Michael Jennings, which everyone expected. And had a tough fight against Clottey. Clottey isn't considered anything ultra special, however he is a formidable opponent. I dig Clottey. He's a solid fighter who can punch and gots heart. Beating Joshua Clottey was something Cotto needed to boost his confidence. However, i think it's too premature to send him up against a super fighter.

Pacquiao is on point right now. There's no question. I don't think Cotto will be able to handle Pacquiao's speed, pressure and power for a consistent 8 rounds. Cotto's gotta hurt Paco first if he wants to make it through. I hope the fight will go the distance and i think it will, but you can never tell when it comes to Pacquiao's freociousness. Plus, i think Cotto respects Pacquiao a little more than he should.

But it's boxing, anything can happen.
you underestimate cotto and the 10+ lbs he will have on fight night.

good predictions bro. i picked oscar over manny

theres no argument about cotto being a good counterpuncher, cause yes he can counter. but it takes a great coutnerpuncher to hit pac between his punches. his speed is blinding and as of this day im still amazed how easy it looks for marquez to counter pac

the zab judah fight was nothing. zab was in there to lose yet he was able to hurt miguel in rd1 and he barely threw any punches at all. i can only remember some activity in rd1, rd7 and thats it. ive been reviewing some of miguels previous fights and shane vs cotto is my next assignment

I REALLY, REALLY hope it's more than 10lbs as long as it does not hurt cotto.Because no matter what, if cotto wins, someone will complain about it. Ohhh, he is 10lbs heavier, ohhh he is a "true" welterweight, ohhhhh cotto hit him with a low blow..ohhhh Cotto hit pacquiao in liver, not fair.

Pacquiao lovers/Cotto haters will complain !

I really want Pac to whoop the big guy's ass, but I can't see him takin Cotto's punch, or avoidin it all nite long. I know the fight'll be ill as long as it goes tho.
