They dont punch harder but everything hurts more if it is a lefty and it's much harder to stop. You can have a perfect defense and still get hit flush on the chin, thats why it shakes people up. MAB had a perfect defense on the knock down and he still got hit on the chin. RJ stepped back on Tarver like he has done his whole career but Tarver caught him flush on the chin. The heavyweight guy ruined Klitchko. I forgot his name but he was a lefty. Wladamire couldnt see the punches and got hurt, then he could see them and still couldnt get out of the way of them. Spinks is a average fighter but he will be very hard to beat because he is a lefty. Everything is backwards and most guys arent used to that

It was an early stoppage but Corley was going to lose most likley anyway. At the point of the stoppage Cotto was starting to really beat Corley up so it was only a matter of time.

Im hearing alot of bashing on Cotto now and I think it is a littile unfair. Like I said above, Chop will hurt Cotto more then Zoo, Harris, and Gatti would. Chop is a crouching lefty with decent power. Everything hurts more. You either dont see the punch coming or you see it and still cant do anything about it. I said the same thing when you guys were trying to question Floyd's chin. It's not there chin, its Corley's left hand crouching style that hurt them.

Those are bandwagon riders. They always come out when they think a fighter is exposed.

Cotto did OK, but its clear he has some defensive adjustments to make for his future fights. He is young and making mistakes is how you learn so if Cotto fights Corley again he will probably fight with a more controlled style.

Cotto won but it was not a good win, he showed some weaknesses. He isn't as good as everyone thought.
