Roy Jones is STILL the man.

I've been wishing for years that he still had it in him. I almost got chills when he knocked down Calzaghe, but we know how that worked out.
The only way I'd honestly say that he's "back" is if he fought and beat some top, up-and-coming guys in the division (dawson, johnson, b-hop, pascal, etc).
As much as I love seeing him beat your Titos, Omars, Lacys, etc, it does not prove his return. If he showed up to the Calzaghe fight like he did last night, things may have been different.
Didn't he look trimmer to you guys against Lacy?
As Floyd has said and we all know, anyone can get beat if they don't train. I think a huge reason for Roys success was that Big roy pushed him in training so hard that by the time it was fight night the fight was easy. I know Roy is old, but what made Roy great is everlasting energy in the ring as well. I saw him throw over 60 punches consecutively flurrying and not getting tired. Thats all based on the training and hard work in your training camps. I think Big Roy back in camp is going to make a significant increase in Roy's energy level in the ring. That will give Roy a significant increase to Roy's effectiveness in the Ring. WATCH what I tell youComment

Im not saying Jones would for surely beat dawson, but I think he could make it a fight and possibly win. I thought Dawson look avg against Tarver in the rematch, if Jones fought that kind of dawson i'd give Roy a shot at it. We want Joe again lmao.Comment
