I think Williams might stop Pavlik.

I see a lot of punches, Williams smothering Pavlik, and possibly doing it to an extent in which will lead to Pavlik sitting it out, and not answering the bell for the 11th round.

Paul isn't a heavy hitter at welterweight, I don't think he'll hurt Pavlik all that much. The only way this fight is a stoppage in favor of Paul Williams is if he is putting on a Calzaghe-Lacy type performance. I don't think that's happening.

I don't think theres any doubt about it.

Pavlikkk's always been suspect to me.

            I see Paul k.o in the 10th.

I see Willaims stopping Pavlik aslong as he fights the correct fight. My money will be on Williams for sure though and I might parlay the under but that depends on what the over/under is set at.

Man,I'm biased, but people don't see that the Punisher's been putting some mustard behind the volume lately & if he beat Winky that convincingly,he might beat Pavlik worse!!

Anything is possible. My issue wit this, tho I'm rootin for Pwill, is his untested chin at 160. Power is the 1 edge Pavlik has here, and Pwill got no defense other than clinchin. I think Pavlik will end up puttin him down.

The thing about this fight that Williams has to prepare for is he's not fighting a guy he's towering over. Pavlik is right there in height and size and also packs one hell of a punch. I think Williams is going to be a lot more careful than any other fight he's been in. Though Pavlik is a one-dimensional fighter, he knows how to fight his style and never really shows signs of frustration more than continuing to throw.

I think Williams can win on points, but I'm not sold yet on his power at 160 against a legit Middleweight. But we shall see...
