Froch vs Jones Jr. at 168

    Who's got this?

At first I would've said Jones easily (especially the version of him who fought on Saturday), but then the more I thought about it... Well, he'd possibly have to drain himself a bit to make a weight that he hasn't been at since '96, and Froch hits a lot harder than a most guys at both 168 and 175.

With that said, I reckon even a weight-drained past-prime Jones would have Froch in fits. The only thing risky would be Jones getting caught with some slow, lunging, telegraphed Froch uppercut from afar (not likely), or the latter ****ing to Jones' body harder than anyone else has.

Lemme guess, I'm probably the only one looking at it with such optimism...

If the fight would happen now Froch should come up and lose a wide decision.

      In Roy's prime....lord hav mercy.....4-5 rounds.

Don't confuse the has-beens and never-weres that Jones is now fighting with current world champions. Froch wins by mid round KO and it's hard to watch.......

Wasn't my intention to do so.

Regardless of the calibre (or lack thereof) of Ajamu, Hanshaw, Sheika and Lacy, I'd still pick current Jones to dance to a healthy decision over Froch. Granted, the latter comes to fight, but I think his skills (again, lack thereof!) would fall short in front of Jones.

Froch's style is taylor made for Roy. Roy wins by decision. 10 years ago Roy wins by k.o. in round 5 or 6.

froch beat jones whether jones is in his prime or not, no one hits harder than froch, no one hurts froch, plus froch can out box you if he can be arsed to....

If they were to fight now, then jones is in a casket....
