Then you look at Cotto and he's had grueling fights with both Margarito and Clottey in the span of a year and has shown he's vulnerable. Not necessarily the two biggest skilled fighters, but they were without question 2 fighters no one in the division wanted to face. But sitting back and looking at what both guys bring to the table, I think people are heavily overlooking Cotto in this fight. He's been doubted time and time again and the dude just finds ways to gather himself and win fights. Both guys got a lot of heart, skill, and pack a mean punch. Though Pacquiao is very fast, he's also vulnerable to getting caught when he lunges in. The illusion a lot of people have been made to believe is that Pacquiao is un-hittable. But the question lies with who will take who's shots better. I believe Cotto will. He's been in with heavier punchers and knows how to adapt to different styles which is an asset people are overlooking as well. If it becomes a war and both are landing shots, I think Pacquiao is going to feel the brunt of it.

I see Cotto winning by stoppage. I may get crucified for saying that (lol), but again...I was one of the very few who picked Pacquiao to win against Oscar, not because of the weight drain, but mainly on the styles and Oscar from day 1 always had trouble with speed fighters. I see Cotto adapting to Pacquiao's style and hurting him down the stretch.
Sorry for getting back to you so late, but thanks for the good and honest post! I really like both fighters, and no matter if the fighter is Puerto Rican or not I still make my pick even if that means my countrymen loosing the fight. When I first heard that Cotto was going to face Zab...I was afraid that Cotto wouldn't be able to deal with his speed, but Cotto prevailed. When Cotto/Mosley was announced I said "There is no way Cotto could beat Mosley", but yet again Cotto prevailed. When he faced Marg I told everyone that Marg was no joke, and Cotto might loose. Loose he did, but even though he did end up getting the beating of a lifetime I was super impressed with Cotto. I mean he gave Marg a boxing lesson almost the entire fight, but just couldn't hurt the man. With Clottey I told everyone that he was beast, and that would be a hard fight, but still Cotto was able to get a close UD.

With all this said, with this fight I feel kind of the same in that I know Pac's speed will pose a problem for Cotto, but this time around I think that his ring experience and the fact that he has fought fighters no one else wanted to face (Marg, Clottey...etc) will give him an edge.
