Roy Jones vs Danny Green To Land in Sydney

It was announced that the cruiserweight bout between Roy Jones Jr. and Danny Green will land in Sydney, Australia on the tentative date of November 21. The venue has not been anounced but Green's team members have told reporters that a large venue is in the process of being secured. Jones has captured titles middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. He never fought at cruiserweight and attempts to win the fringe IBO title that Green picked up last weekend. [details]

If it was for a recognized crusierweight title(recognized as a major title) the fight would have been even better but i'm still very excited about it because if Jones wins he can challenge Adamek or go up to HW for one last pay day. Or there is always the long overdue rematch with Hopkins.

This will be Jones' 3rd fight this year, looks like he really wants a shot at one last big fight after Green. He's doing it fair and square not just asking for big fights out of the blue. I Hope he gets a real good fight next year.

I don't think RJ can stop Green. He has never been stopped. But it can happen the other way around. I believe Green will win this one.
