Miguel or Manny??
Overall, who has more boxing skill?

thats a tough one because when Miguel tries to box it gets him in trouble(ex: the Margarito and Clottey fights) but he does have a good jab, he seems to be intelligent in the ring, has very good fundamentals. Pacquiao isn't exactly Sweet Pea in the ring but, he counters pretty well, he's accurate, and has good head, body, and foot movement, and has overall good ring generalship. I'd say Manny takes this one. -
personally, I dont think Pacquiao would be near where he is if he didnt have his speed and punching power.
Cotto seems a little more technically sound, with his short punches to the body and head, at times advanced defensive ability and overall complete roster of punches.Comment

I'd say Cotto, because he has a jab, not a great one, but it works. He can time ya with it, uses it as a battering ram. PAC just flicks it.
PAC is definitely more agile than Miguel, he can fight off the backfoot better.
But the jab is what determine's if a fighter is a boxer or not.Comment

I'd have to go with Cotto, I think but it's close. Cotto has the ability to punch with both hands and really uses his timing. He also has a jab and has the ability to fight going backwards.
However, his defense become worse as the fight progresses recently.Comment

Its interesting what some of you guys see as skill.
it doesnt matter, because all this talk means nothing in the end, but I dont get why footspeed and agility is classified as skill. or why footspeed in general means you automatically have good footwork.Comment
