I recently bought a Larry Holmes career set and have been watching it since. I just watched the Tyson fight ana Holmes almost looked like an amateur compared to his prime days. If Holmes was in his prime for the Tyson fight who would you pick?

I was upset when Iron knocked out the Easton Assassin. Larry was my favorite fighter growing up and i always said "only if Larry was in his prime, it would be different"..Being able to watch both careers and years later. I honestly think Iron Mike by decision. Larry used his jab fluently to set his opponents up..but i don't think it would of been enough for Iron Mike. The speed and power of Mike would be too much for Larry. Mike by decision..... -

Holmes wins by decision. In his prime he fought guys much tougher and I believe could definitely take Tyson's power. He probably wouldn't KO a prime Tyson but all the high points you see in the past prime Holmes vs. Tyson you would see non stop from prime Holmes.Comment

Tyson's style was made to beat a guy like Holmes.
Get under his jab land quick hard punches, bully him around, never let him set his feet.
I don't think Holmes could stay away long enough not to get rocked,if Shavers and Norton could do it Tyson would finish it.
This Holmes gets stopped.
