    Marquez-Mayweather will benefit Pacquiao greatly

Manny and Roach are going to see a lot of flaws in 1 of the fighters that they can exploit when one of them inevitably gets in the ring with Manny sometime next year; whether Manny beats Cotto or not. Manny already knows Marquez pretty well and probably doesn't want to take another fight with him just because he probably sees him as a pain in the ass and rather just go for a more meaningful fight in Floyd. I'm sure he wants Floyd to win. I think also having seen Floyd fight a guy like Marquez who Manny knows well, it's gonna help him out in making a gameplan if they do fight Floyd next year. Floyd made a bad mistake with Marquez. While I think he's like 90% gonna win, it's all risk and no reward really.

        Yes there has.

Castillo beat his ass in the first fight.

Floyd can't take pressure from a skilled and powerful opponent.

If Pac can pressure him properly, he can outwork Floyd for a decision win.

I don't think anyone can k.o Floyd because he guards his chin too well.

Exactly. Possibly why he's avoided Margarito, Cotto, and Mosley. All fighters who won't back down, have strength to overpower him, and will go to the body when Floyd hides his chin often.

            Indeed.

Floyd is not only a great defensive fighter but also a master cherry picker since he's moved up in weight.

The Castillo fight was in 2002. That was years ago. It was a close fight. That's like me saying Pac got dropped twice by body shots. That was the past. Everyone else that put preesure on Floyd got whooped.

Pac needs to worry about Cotto

I'm a Floyd fan ofcourse but i'm also a JMM fan and i dont want to count him off too quickly either. But this is Mayweather and he's does have an almost 5 inch reach advantage. I hope JMM can make it competative because Floyd will exploit all of his flaws if he shows them that night. Good luck to them both.

There's no way in hell that Marquez is going to get blown away in this fight. Marquez is too highly skilled and intelligent to get destroyed quickly or easily.

Alot of people believe Marquez is too small but I think if Pacquiao can move up in weight without any arguments then Marquez should be able to as well. Marquez is doing the exact same thing Pacquiao is doing. He moved to lightweight and destroyed Casamayor and chose to fight the better Diaz at lightweight and took him apart after going to war in the beginning.

There is no way in hell that Pacquiao would pick Marquez to fight unless there was no other opponents to face. Marquez is the only fighter that Pacquiao can't destroy. Knockdowns have been the only thing that has saved Pacquiao against Marquez.
