Pavlik vs Sturm

I'd like to see this fight happen in near future. Now that both Taylor and Abraham have left the middleweight division, the number of A fighters in the division has shrunken. Felix is in his prime now and he looked impressive in his defenses of the WBA title so far. Especially against Koichi Sato. I do believe he could give Pavlik a close fight. He also has a pretty solid chin.

I think against Pavlik his only chance to win would be to outbox him. Pavlik can be outboxed by the very best technicians. Pavlik however is a favorite to win this fight. With his power and height and reach advantage it would really take a fabulous performance from Sturm to beat him. But I think everything is possible.

I would lean towards Pavlik by late KO but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Sturm decisions him.

Didn't HBO want to make this fight but there wasn't enough money or something?

Pavlik is alot bigger than Sturm. Sturm can make jr middle if he wants. But sturm has the skills to outbox pavlik.
