im concerned lacey will get brai damage..

I saw the calzache fight, and i thought he would get some kind of brain damamge from that. But hes taken a slight beating from taylor and from the reports a nasty beating as well from jones...

Seriously in the calzaghe fight they should have stopped it, hes taken some beatings since then...I seriously think he should retire before he definately will get any brain damage...

I kind of agree, he's taken big shots from almost every relatively decent fighter he's been in with, even against some of the lesser ones like Mendoza who hurt him several times in my opinion.

But I REALLY think Lacy is going to retire now.

Lacy isn't going to retire. There as everyone knows a secondary market for Lacy type fighters. He can get paid for a few years yet fighting in smaller venues against lesser foes. He also has his own promotion company that he'll need to continue to fund. Lacy even said at the end of the fight that he would continue on. Yeah he probably should retire but he won't.

Lacy didn't get permanent damage from the Calzaghe bout. It was in fact the one right after, with Vitali Tsypko. He got a serious shoulder injury in that fight and needed reconstructive surgery on his left shoulder. THAT is what ruined him.

i know, but i was refering to the continually beatings to the head, i mean calzache landed so many shots to the head, then you have taylor who beat him comfortably, but if roy jones gave him a even worse beating and Hes ON ABOUT CONTINUEING, that is worrying...

His phone is probably already ringing with undefeated former amateur/European world champions who want to fight him. I just don't see him doing it anymore, maybe I'm hoping too much. But he should take his promotions company and throw it in with Roy's and Winky's and do that Florida thing.

If he doesn't then this time in two years he'll have about 10 losses on his record.

He already said he was retiring after that Mendoza fight. I think he'll probably retire now.

After the Mendoza fight I think he was doing it to get more money out of the Taylor fight. He went and fought Taylor and lost clearly but he didnt get destroyed really so okay, keep fighting. But he just got absolutely TORTURED by a guy who was great but well passed his prime and I can't think of any top 10 lh or sm who I would even take him as even with.

Anddddddd, I forgot but he fought Otis Griffin in between and there were some people who though Griffin beat him.
