Yes, the Calzaghe-Lacy fight should have been stopped around the 9th round. Birmingham was unethical to let it go on until the end.

In all fairness Calzaghe wasn't landing many hurting punches. However he did beat a prime Lacy, while he was prime as well. Jones was shot along with Lacy and did it is style too. It was stopped because Lacy was out on his feet for 2 rounds and would have been laid out anyways.
