Kind of wished I had watched it now, but I'm not going to go overboard. Despite his diminished skills Roy should be beating up guys like Jeff Lacy. Still nice to hear he looked like the old Roy Jones, and not old Roy Jones.

Roy did exactly what he was supposed to do against a ****ty, (more) shot fighter who was moving up in weight. Lacy got destroyed by Taylor and almost lost to Peter Manfredo for Christs sake. This is exactly what Roy picked Lacy for. Now ******ed people will claim Roy is back. Newsflash, Roy did exactly what everyone on the goddamn planet said he was going to do. He isnt back. Lacy was moving up in weight and is garbage. Deal with reality.

This is what I've always said. Definetly Jones is older but he still looked good in there and he was having fun. Whats wrong with him wanting to do that. The whole card was really good they put on a good show. In Canada we got it for free so it was definetly worth watching. Jones should keep up the good work. I think the guy was made to promote and I think he can become a serious promoter if he picks up a few more solid fighters. Litzau and Green looked good as well.

Roy couldn't do ****?

He didn't do anything. But he certainly could have. He chose not to. He was in a defeated mentality. Roy certainly should have won more than one round against Joe. But Roy was mentally dead. Roy can't deal with the big fights as he used to. Even the current version of Roy could beat Joe if he could somehow convince himself mentally that he COULD win. No one could miss Joe's face the way Joe was standing hands down in front of Roy. Roy mentally chose not to do anything. He was partially self-defeated.

Jones/Green should be an IBF eliminator. I would like to see Jones fight the winner of Cloud/Woods.

I think Jones could actually still beat Woods, but he would get his ass handed to him by Cloud. That dude is no joke. You will see that when he either wins a wide UD over Woods or scores an accumulation stoppage over him. The only asset that Woods has is a chin. He is a plodding come forward fighter who doesn't let his hands go enough and his boxing skills are mediocre. As for a fight between Roy and Green, that would be sad because Roy Jones would try to advertise it as a legit title at Cruser, when we all know that Adamek is the champion in that weight division.
