Lacy had lotsa respect after the fight...Roy beat the respect into Jeff. This was vintage stuff! I can't fathom Jeff was that washed up.

Anyway getting back to the fight, Lacy is a TOMATO can. Lacy was tailor made for Jones I know but come on, Roy is 40 years old.
Did anyone hear the little kids scream Roy's name in the crowd? I think one of the was Reed or his buddy Riz from Nicaragua

Lacy was always a hypejob what did RJJ prove?

So RJJ beat a guy that clearly was a full step below the upper tier guys and yet I see some posters talking like Roy is back LOL. Lacy isn't the greatest fighter ever it wasn't that great of an accomplishment to beat him. If RJJ steps in with the Dawson-Johnson winner he loses plain and simple. I like that Roy won good for him showing he's still got enough to beat the 2nd tier guys but his days at the top are long gone. Period.

I don't think anybody has really done that to lacy. Lacy's will to fight was gone, he was hurt multiple times, both eyes swollen shut, he was cut, and looked like he wanted to cry, and it looked like he needed a hug and/or counseling. Lord Jesus that was a glorious ass whoopin. Jones whooped hiss ass worse than calzaghe did. Jones may match up well against johnson but, Dawson wouldn't be a smart fight to take.
