**** me, he was lying there like he's been Hatton'ed but after the punch he looked at the ref then decided to go down. Hatton wasn't down as long as he was.

jay nady is a terrible referee. Even before this fight ever took place i hated him. he is way too overprotective with his refereeing style. warns excessively, & stops the action way too many times. Too cautious of a referee, stops action & fights too prematurely.

He was the referee for marco barerra vs juan marquez. marco clearly scored a knocked down then hit behind the head because nady stepped in too late to separate marco & start counting the knockdown. marco didnt get credit for a knockdown & taken a point.

He was the refree for premature stoppages like the baldomir vs judah fight. baldomir knocked down judah made him do the chicken dance. judah got up but was not given a chance to continue because of jay nady. judah went after him.

I have seen about 5 or 6 jay nady refereed matches, he is just utterly horrible. Him & joe cortez are one of the worst ones.
