Floyd hadn't KOed anyone in ages. Hatton was finished brutally quick for Floyd's standards above 140.

I agree Hatton had shown diminshed punch resistance but if you don't think Pac is THE MAN at 140 just ask yourself who could beat him there? The answer is noone - he'd smash them all in devastating fashion. Even the good ones like Bradley.

Still, this fight against Cotto (so long as Cotto doesn't drain himself and comes to the ring strong) will answer a lot of questions. If he beats Cotto convincingly you have to tip your hat to the man - he's freakin' awesome.

Its ok to be skeptical i guess.............but if you believe PAC was "just lucky"........... hes been lucky for how long?...............even if he loss against Cotto......his performance is legit..........imo

styles make fights, although Pacquiao is an excellent fighter, he wouldnt look like a destroyer if he fought guys that werent old and didnt love to eat left hands.

dont forget Hatton almost got KOed by Collazo...the guy has always been open to left hands especially by southpaws, its no coincidence his first knockdown came from a southpaw.

and this is coming from someone that picked Pacquiao to beat De La Hoya. I knew De La Hoya was ready for a beating after getting so chopped up by Forbes.

I could see how one could question Pac...A limited Diaz,Weight drained DLH and a over-rated Hatton. I'll say this though if he beats Cotto or stops him he'll end those questions.

He's fighting a weight-drained Cotto and it won't be impressive if he beats him because Cotto was already ruined by Margarito. I will not be satisfied until he grows the balls to fight someone his own size.

                    Wladimir Klitchko or bust.
this coltrane out of philly wit gygb?

i agree until the fight someone his own size comment but then again he is a Natural ww/jww(meaning he walks around at the ww/jww weight-u guys tend to confuse the meaning of that often)!

he did once again pick the weakest champ(via vacancy) in the division.

Mitchell is 10x better than Diaz. He was actually a tenured champ at 140. And for Floyd's first fight at 147, it was an impressive win and KO.
