I imagine he can't, much like against Taylor for the first six rounds, or even Pascal to a lesser extent. But he will keep trying and won't be discouraged.

How Dirrell responds to that is a question yet to be answered. He has proven himself a prospect but he has been in there with soft opposition thus far.

I'm not going to make Froch out to be this great threat because he isn't but he is definitely a test.

No doubt I agree and I wouldnt be surprised if Dirrell failed the test because he is hittable, I think Ward would put more of a clinic on Carl. I think Pascal fought the wrong fight.

exactly, frochs gameplan is to "bust him up" and likely take him out in the later rounds. its a classic boxer-brawler matchup. can dirrell last the distance under the constant pressure or not is the question.

dirrell is clearly the better boxer but hes never beat nobody of quality or had a really rough fight. we know about froch down the stretch, lets find out about dirrell.

i specificly said hes not a skilled fighter. but hes a world champion, he holds wins over former undisputed world champ taylor and is the only man to beat current world champ jean pascal. so hes no doubt a quality fighter. he takes one hell of a punch, has massive heart and comes to fight for 12 rounds. for someone whos never really been tested it will be interesting to see how dirrell deals with the physical and mental pressure from froch for 12 rounds.
