EM vs. Mab and Gatti/Ward all tapered off and got progressively worse.
Gatti/Ward 2 being a perfect example. That fight was decent at best, but Gatti easily won it. There was no drama.

EM vs. MAB 3 was ok, but it was also tired compared to the previous 2.

    Izzy/Rafa got better and better.

This should be a no contest victory for Izzy/Rafa.

i think that's the reason why i put the other trilogies ahead of this one. though they are still great fights.

I really enjoyed the trilogy. In the first fight, Erik edges the Filipino star and gives the fans a round for the ages by going toe to toe with him in the final stanza. It's the last time anyone has been able to defeat Manny Pacquiao. In the second fight we saw the first legitimate knockdown of the iron chinned Morales and the first time he's ever been stopped. And although the third only lasted 3 rounds, it was like a mini Hagler vs Hearns...

I think the animosity between MAB-EM was the bonus for their trilogy..and they went to war cuz they really hated each other..and I LOVED all 3 fights!!..

As far as Izzy-Rafa..they were all great but with the first fight ending in a "No Mas" because of Izzy's swollen nose and the 2nd fight I felt was stopped a lil too early..Rafa was clearly hurt..but the ref could've waited a bit..I think Rafa wasn't on the verge of being permanently damaged..and could've came back from the onslaught..3rd fight was AMAZING tho..and made up for the previous 2..

If I had to pick a single fight as the most exciting, I'd probably go with MAB vs Erik I.

Gatti-Ward I was the best individual fight of any in the four trilogies, but the other two Gatti-Ward fights weren't as great, though they were still good.

Pacquiao-Morales should be eliminated right away because the third fight was a slaughter, and though the first two fights were good neither was FOTY.

That leaves Barrera-Morales and Vasquez-Marquez. I think Vasquez-Marquez III was the best fight out of any of the six but the Vasquez-Marquez I was the worst of the six. It's difficult to say.
