On September 17, 2009, El Portal Club in southeast Houston, Texas, will be the site for Aztec Empire Promotion’s professional boxing inaugural show. The event, which is billed as “The New Generation/La Nueva Generacion”, will be headlined for the vacant Texas Super Featherweight Title by one of Houston’s most promising young fighters in recent memory: Eleazar Renteria (8-0) going up against tough Angel Rodriguez (3-3-2). The co-main event and undercard will feature local favorites Adrian “The Wizard” Lopez (9-3), dangerous Angel “El Gallo” Herrera (5-3), Nelson Ramos (2-0), Uko Isidien (1-0), pro debut Rafael “El Pipiripau” Munoz and San Antonio’s Jairo Martinez (3-0), these local and area young up-and-coming prospects are sure to provide a night of explosive boxing. Wow..couldnt believe i read this on here..i know the owner Larry "L" Hernandez...ive actually performed a few times at some of his other fights and gym parties...Good to see him getting the recognition he deserves. This is being held in my neighborhood...Looks like im gonna have to hit him up about peforming at this event!! Small World.. -
As a matter of fact im close friends with Uko Isidien from Puro Azteca Boxing and Nelson Ramos from Ringsters Boxing, I've sparred numerous times with both guys, Uko fights exactly like Sugar Shane Mosley. And Nelson like the version of De La Hoya with the mayweather defense. This is gonna be a great night of boxing....I WILL BE THERE!Comment

Adrian Lopez is my homies older brother..ive known them since we were kids..burnett elem..jackson middle school..austin high school..i just drank with Adrian last year..his uncle past away and he was like a father to me..we chilled at his cousins and drank till the morning...lolComment
