When Cotto throws his hook or uppercut with his left hand, his chin comes up a bit, he can get caught with the same shot that Pacquiao caught Hatton with if he takes a couple of steps back, makes Cotto miss with his hook and/or uppercut and counter with that looping left hand.

hmmm, I think Manny may find more success countering with his right hook over and/or around Cottos left hand. I also like the left upper, right hook combo against Cotto given Cotto's stance.

If I were Pacquiao I'd try to tap Cotto with my right hook to bring Cotto's left arm up a little then bring up the right uppercut right through the guard.

a la Mike Tyson but from the opposite stance? I see you point with the right hook, right upper, it could be effective in this fight. Given the opposing stances (southpaw vs orthodox) the left upper could leave Manny open for a Cotto right hand...

Similar to Tyson except not to the body first, right hook to the head then switch it up to a right uppercut. The way Cotto positions his hands makes the right hook to the body-right uppercut combination that Tyson used to use so effectively less effective than a right hook to the head-right uppercut IMO.
