Ricky Hatton has very little chance of defeating Tsyzu. Not only is Tsyzu stronger but he has lots more experience.

Mmmm Tszyu might be pessing alot in the gym but hes gonna need to be able to do that! As when Hatton puts him flat on his face in this fight he wil need all the strengh to push himself off the canvous. lol Can't wait to see this fight

                Actually Achilles:

Leg strength has literally nothing to do with boxing. The common assumption is, that having strong legs...gives you "driving" power. Yes it does. But not Punching power. Look at most boxers with a chiseled upper body..........HARDLY ANY of them have any leg muscle. Look at RJJ, he is all upperbody. The muscle groups you need in boxing are pectorals, biceps, triceps, deltoids, and Latissimus Dorsi(Lats, in your back). Lovemoure N'Dou is super muscular, but has frog legs as well.

Mike Tyson is the Only boxer who I have ever seen, that focuses on leg strength. I have no idea why. I think he just wants to look proportioned. Lennox Lewis has never lifted a weight with his legs his entire life IMO. That is why they are hairy and "Not-Toned". His upper body.......Different story.

The last paragraph is mere speculation and opinion I may add. I have no idea as to any of the fighter's weight training habits.

Stronger legs will actually help you stay on your feet when absorbing a harshly punishing blow. I dont believe that it will equate to more punching power but strong legs will help you stand...........Rockin'

Really? I did not know that Rockin. That is news to me, I figured it was meaningless. Shows what I know.

The running is not only for building your wind, but your legs as well. I used to run hills sideways, forward and backward for 1 hour straight, 15 minutes each side.. When I say sideways I mean shuffling up and down the hill as a boxer would move in the ring when circling the ring. My legs were so strong. When I was fighting steady, I ate some amazing bombs but remained on my feet still fighting hard. Strong legs are really important...........Rockin'
