There's a difference in making weight and making weight right, I think he'll make weight in a smarter way, at least that's what they mentioned.

You are right! Do you think Cotto has always made weight the smart/right way? I seen him look drained a few times, but I know he will be fine for this fight.

Look man, it's a no brainer. If he walks into the ring at 160lbs and he's in fighting shape, and he just put on 13 pounds in one day, logic tell you that his non-fighting (walking around) weight is probably at least 10 more pounds than what he weighs on fight night.

I still think Cotto should be fighting bigger guys . My biggest ***** about his fight was the weight. He indeed should be fine. But a lot of manny haters will blame it on weight and not give manny credit for a win if he wins.

So you took me off ignore!? Logic also says there would be a source. I just want the facts out and to put this topic away once and for all. If he does or doesn't weigh 170 or more I really don't care. Let's put this topic to rest...source?

I'm going to tell you the truth. If Cotto comes in looking like DLH yes lots of peepz are going to bring up the weight issue. If he comes in like he always has (which should be the case on Nov 14) then there are no excuses.

Definitely NOT, ever since Phil came in he's been making weight healthier.

LOL @ the comparison to Hatton.
The first time I saw him I was completely surprised as to how big he was. He was not fat, just extremely wide and muscular. He was EASILY over 170, I was wondering how the hell he makes welterweight.

Every time I see him I asked myself that, how the hell he makes 147.
