Cotto vs Harris June 18? This is a Must Read

I was just thinking about if Floyd vs Gatti is on June 11 on PPV then they will probally show it the following week on HBO. I think HBO might be setting a show up where "IF" Cotto beats Chop then he will fight Harris on June 18 after the replay of Floyd-Gatti. They already said that if Cotto wins then he would probally fight Harris next. If this was true, how awesome would that be? We would have the top 6 fighters in the best division in boxing fighting eachother in 3 straight weeks. This might be the best and most anticipated 3 weeks of boxing in history. Alot of questions will be answered in those fights

    June 4 Tszyu vs Hatton
    June 11 Floyd vs Gatti
    June 18 Cotto vs Harris

who do you guys think would win all of those fights?

I can honestly say that if this were to happen, this would be imo the spark that boxing sorely needs to get the fans fired up and back to supporting this sport the way it should be. I can't recall there ever being a situation where in less than 1 month there being three genuinely stellar boxing cards, let alone all being in consecutive weeks in the same damn weight class. This would be HUGE and for once is actually very doable.

I think were these fights to happen then I would have to pick as follows:

Tszyu vs. Hatton= Kostya Tszyu by KO/TKO mid to late rds.
Floyd vs. Gatti= Floyd by TKO late on cuts
Cotto vs. Harris= Cotto by close but unanimous decision

P.S. hey DLT didn't you get my pm about the wager? what about it? I am willing to bet you that Cotto wins by KO/TKO 10,000

Sorry man, I never even pay attention to those things unless someone lets me know. I came here to talk boxing and nothing else really. I dont even know how these points things work. I dont really look into all that stuff. Thats why I didnt get mad when someone took alot of my points one day. I like Chop but not enough to bet on him in this fight. I never said he would win. Here are my exact words. I think Chop will give Cotto a tough fight were he definatly wont get stopped and he could pull off the upset. So I guess we could bet since you say that he's going to get KO but I'll let you know later because like I said, I dont pay attention to the points

Ok sounds good to me just let me know. Also I'm actually a little bit nervous about the fight since seeing the pics, I know that Cotto cuts an awful lot of weight, but damn he looks starched in those photos. Sooner or later that **** catches up to you and your body just wont react the same way, I sure hope this aint the time tonight, especially since it took three or four tries to weigh in

i'll take vivian, against all 140lb fighters, just for the simple fact that he is willing to put it all on the line.... theres only as few who do that and they are the real deal....plus i know he can produce. just give him the opportunity to expose the rest.....iron clad........

Since when has Harris been willing to put it all on the line? I know he has said that alot but he has also turned down some big named fights, well at least one.

Harris isnt willing to put it all on the line, Zab Judah put it all on the line against Spinks by taking chump change for his shot. Harris wants huge ammounts of money before he's willing to take any risk.

Why else would he fight Urkal for less than half the ammount he turned down for a Hatton fight? He's looking for a retirement fund because he's not as confident as he pretends.
