If he wins the tournament? Yes, he'll be considered great. Do I think he'll win? No - but I'll be routing for him every step of the way. He's got the ability to pull it off, but the odds are not in his favour considering his 'chin first' approach. I'd love nothing more than for Froch to prove me wrong. I think we'll know a lot more by the end of his first fight.
thats his one weakness, and i agree, it is invincible if he uses his jab, literally no ones beating him...but hes knows he got a good chin and no ones kncoing him out, you cant cut people from nottingham its in our genes.
Hopefully though he will have learnt from the taylor fight...
If he uses his jab, this tournament is a walk over, with the aermicans fairing the worst....
the quality of this tourney is being overrated AA and kess would be good wins for froch but hes already beat JT and the two andres are waaayyyy too green.
whats significant in this tourney is whereas fights like these were made with calzaghe, it was over a period of a decade. froch and kess are in a fantastic position to equal calzaghes decade of wins and do it in just a few years.
anyway froch imo won't be an ATG if he wins this tourney but he will be a sure fire HOF'er if he gets a win over AA or kess, wins over both and then he os bordering on bigger things. if he cleans out the division by beating bute and then greene then yes he would be an ATG. but he won'y do it, kess might.
