Where does it put Rahman if he beats Vitali for the WBC title?

He would have beaten Lennox Lewis for the linear HW title and beaten Vitali for what many believe to be the linear HW champion. There are guys in the HOF who have never been the linear champ...

I think his defeat of Lennox while impresive, should not be given too much weight. Did the rematch leave any questions?

As far as Vitali, again, Rahman gets 'no respect' from me, except to say he'll be at the top of a weak field of heavies. I don't think his riegn would last long either.

My apologies to Hasim, Ive got nothing against him really...

I hope Rahman beats Vitali so Toney can fight him for the real title. I think James Toney would have a much better chance against Rahman than Toney.

It would put him as the current WBC Heavyweight Champion. Nothing more, nothing less.

rahman is going to win by late tko. he has all the tools to knock off vitali. plus imo rahman would be a more entertaining champion and would be in better fights.

A lot of people here need to go rewatch Sanders vs. Rahman.

how many years can we keep refering back to that fight when we want an exciting Rahman fight?
