    Tito had overrated power

If he was so powerful why did the proven glass jaw of a very old and faded RJJ stand up to his shots?

    Just saying

      Overrated over 147.

At welterweight he was a monster.

Not even overrated over 147. Look what he did to Reid and Vargas at 154. He knocked Vargas down with practically the first punch he landed! Also, his destruction of Joppy, complete with 5 KD's, at 160.

Without the wraps he had average to below average power.

he didnt have over-rated power, Tito's downfall was the vacations he took from boxing and ring rust and inactivity

jones isn't exactly a mayorga...someone who is actually gonna take shots to dish out punishment...that said tito really hasn't landed anything significant on anyone at 168 or above to gauge what his power is like in the superwiddleweight/lower lightheavy ranks...

Great post that's what I mean above 147 besides the wide open Vargas, the novice Reid and a faded Joppy who did he really stop that had serious world class credentials.

Reidwas fed to the lion.He had no place with Trinidad in the ring.

Vargas and Joppy are good wins but hey still don't make me think he had tremedous power over 147.
