I just really think Hatton got his soul took From Floyd...Then Pac took his manhood....
When a fighter begins to doubt himself, he becomes a different fighter. he becomes cautious, he becomes tentative.

None of those describe Hatton. Hatton just isn't on the same level as Floyd and Pac.

The thing that left Hatton after his bout with Mayweather was the confidence that he had in himself. That was something which was never able to be replaced. I always got the feeling in the lead up to the Pac fight that the confidence which Ricky was exuding was feigned. Ricky suffers from being a one-dimensional fighter. As has been said throughout the thread, he has limited skills. That being said, there are certain things which one cannot take away from Ricky, those being things such as his decent footwork and his abilities as an inside fighter. His performance against Kostya was nothing short of brilliant, and I think that Ricky rode on that, assuming that the manner in which he performed on that particular night was to be indicative of the rest of his career. Did Floyd ruin Ricky? No, Ricky was not 'ruined' by anybody. If anybody ruined Ricky Hatton, it was Ricky Hatton (and I don't even think he's necessarily 'ruined', just a little damaged). Ninety-nine per cent of that, I attribute to his lifestyle outside of the ring. There's a reason that he's my favourite fighter, and it's not because he's a maestro in the ring. Despite his many, many flaws, Ricky's heart and his will are the things which make him stand out from and above many fighters. That's how a B fighter like Ricky got the chance to compete with the best of the best. Ricky wasn't ever ruined by anybody. He's just not on the same skill level, that's all.

Hatton was at his prime when Floyd destroyed him. He was confident, strong, undefeated and coming off of a TKO win of Castillo. The fighter that Floyd faced was a totally different than the one Pac fought. He's was damaged goods walking forward not moving his head and now everyone thinks Pac is some kind of boxing genius.( I'm a fan of Pacs but i don't believe all the hype.)Fortunately Floyd is going to pull the cover off of this an expose who really has the true skills

Mayweather made him realise what real boxing skills are. Hatton was exposed as the one dimensional dirty fighter he is.

                    Garbage.

HATTON won few rounds and almost dropped BUMWEATHER JR. in first round!

Only one who ruin HATTON is PACQUIAO.

PACQUIAO fought HATTON at HATTON s weight class.

He didnt make him to go to 147 like BUMWEATHER did!

BUMWEATHER JR. would never fought HATTON at 140!
At 147lb things would have been easier for Hatton. He fights at 140lbs to avoid the bigger welterweights like Cotto, Margarito and Cintron, because Floyd is a small Welter he wasn't at a size disadvantage fighting at 147lbs.

He'd actually be stronger. When you fight at the lower weight classes you really shouldn't stay there your entire career, after a while it becomes taxing to make the weight. Hatton looked healthier at 147lb than he did 140lbs.

But Hatton really thougt he would win..then all the **** Floyd talked ..the weigh in.....the atmosphere that was an event.

I think mentally he was ****ed...after Floyd humiliated him with that silly knockout.....then the turnbuckle....

I think Hatton gave his all and that drained him mentally and physically.

                      Your thoughts??
I think Mayweather ruined Hatton`s self-confidence and sense of invincibility more than anything else, nothing really physical.
