well he already graduated, i visited savannah boxing gym and he looks pretty sharp, still flabby but he looks like he's not playing around anymore! he's been full-time training now.

but no in all honesty how can you not like this guy? he always puts on a good fight, is humble and he makes good fights (jmm, malignaggi, katsidis, campbell etc)

the one thing i dont like is how hes a little pudgy, would really like him to lose baby blubber and drop to 130.

I like him as a boxer, but the ****ing college story is annoying. Ok, I like that he thinks about his future and wants to get educated but damn everytime he fights it's the same ****. It's like they want people to like him because he was poor and is in college instead of his skills.

Yup he graduated in may with a bachelors in political science..i saw him walk..my gf walked the same day..BA in education.

just like oscar..they talk about his dead mom and how he won the gold for her...or manny how he came from dirt and his dad ate his dog..or how ritos bro was killed in tj..or how etc etc..every fighter has their story and every fight the media will exploit it..so whats ur beef with him?



oh and yes i ike the guy..another cotto type..always willing to fight and fight he does..
