It's a fact that black people generally have more fast twitch muscles than any other ethnicity, therefore black people are generally more explosive (in their movements).

Proportionately longer arms help in boxing, since many punches land or miss by an inch.

For example, Chris Byrd has the same arm length as Wladimir Klitschko, even though he's 5 inches shorter. Austin, Thompson and Rahman all had longer arms than Wlad, although none were taller. Lennox Lewis has 29" arms compared to Wlad's 26" and Vitali's 25.5 ".
