at the end of the day look at his record and there quite clealy L's.

No gift decision. Hopkins got unlucky. He shoulda came out to play. He had roach and Richardson in his corner and still couldn't beat joe.

Never beat Calzaghe! Wouldn't beat him if he had the chance to fight him again!

Hopkins couldn't beat Calzaghe at Calzaghe's first venture into 175lbs. He had an outstanding team of strategists/trainers in Freddie Roach, John David Jackson and Naseem Richardson. Not to mention one of the best nutritionist and strength and conditioning coaches in Mackie Shilstone.

Calzaghe just trained with his dad in a shed in Wales and didn't employ any nutrition or strength and conditioning for his very first fight at light heavy. He tuirned up in Vegas with a spit bucket cutman and his two uncles and beat Hopkins in his own country at his own weight.

When you look at the circumstances that was an outstanding albeit close win for Calzaghe.
