    Trinidad Vs. Eastman

Everyone thiks Trinidad would kill Eastman. If Eastman would be sooo easy for Trinidad to beat, why is Hopkins going to fight him. If Hopkins can so easily dominate Trinidad, and Trinidad can "eat" Eastman, don't you think Hopkins should be stepping up to a bigger fight. He only has a few fights left in him. He's wasting one on Eastman. Hell, Felix Sturm would beat Eastman. Hopkins should be fighting RJ or Tarver or even Sturm. I think he's afraid of the bigger challenges. He just waits for the little guys with big names to move up. What a chump!

I would like to see Nard fight either Trinidad or Tarver. I wanna see if Tarvers little claim to fame was a fluke or not. Plus i always wanna if Nard will ever step up to a bigger man in his life.

This post is laced with the ignorance that has become all too typical of threads IMFAMOUZ starts. I question my own intellegence in responding:

With Trinadad and Sturm, obstisibly, tied up in a fight with one another. Eastman is the obvious fight for Hopkins at 160. And it probably wont be a walk over either. If it is, Hopkins should get that much more credit for being at the top of the pound for pound ladder. That is also definitely to say that calling Hopkins a chump is completely asinine.

That's a pretty naive post. I'd be surprised if many people outside of his die-hard fans thought that Trinidad would kill him. Eastman's a fully blown middleweight with decent skills, good power and a solid chin who could give anyone the weight a tough time and fully deserves a shot. He certainly won't do any worse than Trinidad did.

You cant really do any worse than Trinidad did. The only reason people were on the edge of there seat for that fight was cuz there was still that chance that trinidads power would pull through.

i'd like to know what you base this on,
i wonder if you have ever seen eastman fight.
i would also place money on the fact you've only seen sturm fight once, against a seriously lacking odlh.

Where are you guys getting this information? Felix Trinidad and Felix Sturm HAVE NOT SIGNED ANYTING. They (Team Trinidad) is still waiting for the fight this Saturday before deciding who they will fight.

Either way, Eastman is the mandatory and Hop wants to keep his belts.

Boxrec jumps the gun tooooooo many times and is not a reliable source. If Tito were fighting Sturm for sure I would've read about it on ENDI.com, primerahora.com, or **********.com already. Don't believe the hype.
