Oscar De La Hoya Says Roy Jones Jr Should Retire

Former six division champion Oscar De La Hoya is advising Roy Jones Jr. to hang up the gloves. In his recent blog on Ring TV, De La Hoya says that a fighter may sometimes need a beating, like the one De La Hoya suffered at the hands of Manny Pacquiao last December, to know it's time to hang up the gloves. The golden girl knows what she's talking about, Jones will be knocked out unconcious again. Jones is like Holyfield he is trying to learn things the hard way. But atleast Holyfield doesnt have a glass chin.

If you ignore the other thread already on this subject, this is breaking news.

De La Hoya is good at inventing reasons for himself to get over the pac loss. "The beating was just what i needed" God forbid someone else tries to end their career on a good note instead of quitting in their corner never to come back.
