Klitschkos: "David Haye Fight Unlikely" To Happen
Collapse

No one in the UK had ever heard of Barret, and no title was up for grabs. They'll pay to watch him in a title fight, though.
You can't get away from the fact that the cancelled fight with Wlad sold more tickets on the first day alone than any other European fight had sold since the Second World War. Haye on his own isn't a huge draw. Wlad on his own is a much bigger draw than Haye on his own, but still not a really huge draw internationally, in terms of worldwide sales (which is why HBO turned down the Chagaev fight even though it was for The Ring belt). But Wlad-Haye or Vitali-Haye is a huge draw worldwide, the biggest money fight that heavyweight boxing can offer (as long as Haye doesn't blow it against Valuev).Last edited by Dave Rado; 08-14-2009, 12:47 PM.Comment

I said the minute Haye called off the 2nd fight that there was no way either of the Klitschkos would choose to give him the pay day ever again. He doesnt deserve it. I think he is hoping to let them age for another year or two and fight one of them right before they retire. If they are smart they will tell him to **** off. Neither needs the money.Comment

Again i dont want to hear Klitschos saying they are unlikely to fight Haye. He wore that t shirt remember. Once he beats Valuev he is your next opponent. Even if he loses to Valuev you should want haye as your next opponent as well.Comment

I want to know if Arreola has to fight the Klits 3 times if he wins. Im thinking no and is all i need to know about how dangerous they think David Haye is to them

At present he doesn't deserve it, but if he knocks Valuev out in style and then beats another top contender in style, the boxing public would demand it, and the Klitschkos would then fight him. They would lose all credibility if they didn't. But I admit that "if" is a big if.I said the minute Haye called off the 2nd fight that there was no way either of the Klitschkos would choose to give him the pay day ever again. He doesnt deserve it. one of the klits will fight him, if he beats valuev that is. first of he will get under their skin again, with a HW title he will become even more arrogant. more importantly that WBA belt will be around his waist, and as long as it is the klits cant achieve their dream of holding all the HW titles within the family. they are pissed now but in time they will come around. they wont let their whats probably near hatred at this point of haye get in the way of unifiying all the belts.Comment

lol,,,sorry dude but it was haye that looked bad and that injury was likely bs. he's pussied out of both fights with klitsFighters get injured, period. Whether you believe him or not, he was willing to fight as soon as his injury heeled. Wlad was unwilling to wait, which makes him look like the scared one. How many times has an injury stopped a big fight from happening? When ever does the other fighter throw his hands up and say forget it? It was Wlad that looked bad, not Haye. Or else every fighter that ever got injured before a fight was faking it.Comment
