If Marquez beats Mayweather Jr is he #1 P4P???

Any win for Marquez in this warrants automatic P4P 1.

Casamayor, Diaz, Mayweather > DLH, Hatton, Diaz

No argument or discussion.

Of course, if Marquez wins and then Pac beats Cotto you would have to compare the fights to decide. Probably a tie as 2 years ago you would have been laughed off the forum for saying Pac and Marquez would be meeting Cotto and Mayweather.

Yeah, only I don't know if Pacquaio takes that spot if he beats Cotto.

I would say it depends on the performance. If for some fluke reason floyd shows up and has no fight in him. Then I would say no that does not automatically make him p4p #1.

But I cant seem to envision any other scenario with my man Marquez winning were he would not be raised to p4p #1.
