Who will Mexicans support? Pac or Cotto?

Curious, as Pac has blown a hole through some of Mexico's greats. Yet, PR's and Mexicans don't always get a long, lol. Plus let's not forget Cotto-Margarito. And the aftermath of Margarito being accused of cheating. So who will you be rooting for Nov. 14th? Republica enemy numero uno of Mexico, or a PR to hand Manny his loss?

im going to say most Mexicans will be for PacMan.. First off Mexicans and Puerto Chicas dont really get along that well and we already had our rivalary with the Puerto Chicas long before Manny came around. The second reason is because PacMan is going in as the smaller man fighting a bigger guy that should beat him. I know the odds are Mannys favor mainly because of what happened to Delahoya but make no mistake Cotto is the bigger stronger guy and should Knock Manny out. That being said Cotto is a small welterweight that moved up in weight a few years back and the only advantage Cotto has is that he has proven himself against bigger men with much bigger punches. But how will Cotto deal with Mannys speed is the question. I think Cotto will do much better than people are going to give him credit for and i believe he will hurt Manny durning his fight. Manny has good power but Cotto has been in with power punchers like Torres, Mosely, and Margarito(may have had help in his hands) and has faired pretty well. Cotto also has been in with FastHands like Mosely and Judah and dealt with their speed while showing some handspeed of his own. So to me it looks likes a mismatch and i believe that is the reason most Mexicans will support Manny for fighting a fight he should lose. Oh and lets not forget that We want a Mexican to beat Manny so going for Puerto Chicas is not something to say out loud. I would like to see Manny win so when Marquez beats Mayweather, they can have their triology to show the world that Marquez was the true Champion of this era

Bottom line, I’m just watching this fight because I know it will be a good scrap with potentiality of a KO win from either fighter. I could give a dolphin’s **** who will be rooting for who so all of this Mexican/Puerto Rican/Pinoy talk should just cease in my honest opinion.

It's going to be a great fight period! Both are great fighter, but I am supporting Cotto in this war.

IMO I enjoy the Mexican/PR rivalry, it's good for the sport. There's nothing wrong with a pride, and watching your countrymen represent! I admit though I hate when you got the knuckleheads out there who take it to an "ignorant" level.

This is a good question. I would say Cotto just because Manny has beaten so many of their fighters.
