Sorry, pal, but I do recall that Rinty Monaghan (a Northern Irish) won the unification World Flyweight match against Dado Marino back in the late 40's in London on points. Marino won (DQ) their non title clash a few months prior, in Scotland.

The direct trigger for this recollection was that recent article of Cliff Rold carried some weeks ago on the Main Page of this site about his ranking of the 25 Greatest Flyweights of All Time.

Hey Grayfist! Thanks meng....The purpose of this thread was to gather known title fights between Pinoys and Limeys.....I've shared what I know. It's 4-1 then....I hope some other knowledgable Brits (and non Brits) would come up with other fights we might have missed or forgotten. Unlike some posters who got butt hurt real fast without contributing.
