i have no idea personally, they both have great defence, toney maybe being a little more slick, but bhop could adjust very well.

I've thought about this one a lot of times. After watching the Toney/Nunn fight, I noticed Nunn's height gave Toney a lot of problems but he caught late and Toney stopped him. I can see Hopkins peppering Toney with right hand leads from the outside and using that height advantage. Toney attempts the shoulder roll technique which he used so beautifully back then, but Hopkins is good at neutralizing his opponents best weapon, so he would probably win by decision in a classic fight...

Toney has trouble with taller crafty fighters, and while his defence was great, he would get hit a bit in his fights. I think Hopkins's accuracy wins him the fight. Also Toney was never a speed demon, and would probably lose aclose UD.

Same here. Hopkins fought bums for the most part of the 90's.

bhop isnt losing unless the other guys main weapon is speed
it wouldnt be a very entertaining fight as both guys rely on the other guy coming too them but i think hops accuracy would mean he lands the cleaner shots
