    LAS VEGAS (August 12, 2009) - The countdown is on! With a little over five weeks remaining before the highly anticipated 'Number One/Numero Uno' mega-fight between six-time world champion in five weight divisions Floyd Mayweather and five-time world champion in three weight divisions Juan Manuel Marquez, media members will be given an opportunity to hear from the fighters, trainers and several special guests during a series of international media conference calls. Mayweather vs. Marquez is scheduled to take place Saturday, September 19 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View®.


    The series will kick off with a call to officially announce the incredibly stacked Mayweather vs. Marquez undercard and will feature a number of the undercard fighters. You won't want to miss the chance to hear from the promoters and fighters as they explain why this undercard rivals any in the history of the sport.

    The conference calls will be held on the following dates:

    Tuesday, August 18 - Undercard Announcement and Fighters Conference Call
    Tuesday, August 25 - Marquez & Trainer Conference Call
    Tuesday, September 1 - Mayweather & Trainer Conference Call
