    EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: DEVON ALEXANDER
    By G. Leon

Undefeated WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander "The Great" contacted **********.com to respond to recent commments made by Zab Judah and Amir Khan, discuss his future plans and much more. You don't want to miss what the best young fighter in the world had to say.

GL: Cong**** on the victory over Witter was there anything about him that surprised you?

Devon Alexander: "He's a very good fighter, but we were ready for anything. He's tricky and I had to be on my toes and do what I had to do, not what he wanted me to do."

GL: Are you surprised he quit?

DA: "Yeah, but the things I was doing were frustrating him and he couldn't figure me out. I might not have knocked him out or nothing, but he was defeated mentally from the fourth round on. I could see it in his eyes."

GL: Where do you from here?

DA: "I leave that to my team to figure out. I been hearing Amir Khan saying he wants to come over to the States and fight and I'd be more than happy to oblige him in a unification bout."

GL: How does a fight between you and Amir play out?

DA: "It would be another great victory."

GL: And unlike Witter, hopefully another great payday.

DA: "Yeah man, but like I said I leave that to my team. We did certain things to make sure I didn't lose my chance to win this green belt on Showtime. Getting Witter to come over here was tougher than the fight was for me, but now I got this belt, I'm ready to be treated like a world champion straight across the board."

GL: Are you hoping your first title fight ends up in St. Louis?

DA: "That would be a dream come true. I would love to fight Amir Khan in St. Louis. If he decides he ain't coming here yet, maybe it'll be Nate Campbell."

GL: What did you think of Campbell-Bradley?

DA: "I think Nate got cheated. Everybody saw him get hit with a head butt, so the fight should have been a no-contest. Nate deserves another shot at the title, and he's a very solid fight. But if Nate takes the date, he gets sc****d by The Great."

GL: What about Zab Judah saying you guys should know better than asking him to come to St. Louis?

DA: "I saw what he said and he's worried about Don King, but I'm the one he needs to worry about because Don King would need him as anything else but my opponent. Let us deal with Don King, you want a shot just sign the contract. Beating him in front of a sold out crowd would mean a lot to me, because it would like my way of getting him back for what happened here with Cory."

GL: If you had it your way, put these names in order.

DA: "Khan, Campbell and Zab. If I had it my way, those are my next three fights."

    GL: Closing thoughts?

DA: "It's Great to be back where I started on **********.com, I want to thank you for the interview and thank all of my fans for their support and love."
