Ya 20 aint late since most boxers retire at 36!, depends if you're really good at it or not.

hey thanks for the positive feed back, its great to hear stuff like that other than those meat heads who just want to bring everyone down and talk **** to me, im going to look to drastically lose some weight in the next month or two, and by new years i will be going to a boxing gym and learn a few things or two. Right now the only things going for me is drive , heart, and a heavy punch. Thats all you gotta start with i think. But even if i get some ameteur fights in that would be great. but i got a question...

#1 Is there an age limit to be an ameteaur fighter?

I don't understand why people need to bash someone who is asking serious question... If you can't help, stop replying nonsense..

To the TS, it will be very hard for you at that age and the environment where you are living is another factor...

The best thing to do is to sign-up in some boxing gyms... low profile boxing gyms... have friends with some people who have the same ambition and share ideas...

Though I am not a professional boxer (not my ambition), I keep my self in shape by going to gym at least twice a week for 14 years now... I'm 32 and though I have an amateur record of 12-0-1 and rejected a lot of offers during early 90's to continue fighting in amateur, I still box and spar with some regular gym customers just to keep in shape, speed, and reflexes...

Age 20 is a little bit late but who knows... sign-up in boxing gym and talk to people who have the same plan..
