  • Vernon Forrest's Murder, Alleged Shooter Arrested

    According to reports coming out of Altanta, Georgia, the third and final suspect in the robbery/murder of former champion Vernon Forrest, has been caught by police. Charmon Sinkfield, 30, was arrested by U.S. Marshalls on Wednesday night. He was caught during a traffic stop and is currently being questioned at Atlanta Police headquarters. One police source told reporters that Sinkfield is believed to be the suspect to have shot Forrest several times in the back. [details]

        Thank you.... Rest In Peace Vernon .... hopefully we also find this type of closure with Arturo Gatti.... cuz i still don't believe the preliminary reports

                Glad they could actually catch these guys and make them pay. Hope they get the worst and maximum that they can, it still wont be enough to heal the aching hearts of the boxing community though.
