Paul Williams Will Starch Pavlik

Mark my words. He will **** with Pavlik, and he will finish him. People keep talking about Paul's chin. The guy spars with heavies in DC and even Arreola said he hit Williams flush in sparring and Williams did not blink. It was on max boxing a few months back. His chin is like Hagler's. He also has tons of heart (see the 12th round of Margarito fight) and unbelievable stamina. He is a better in fighter than Pavlik and is much more athletic and diverse. His body attack and threat of both hands (his right hand is the best of any southpaw in recent history, ask Lederman, Merchant or Lennox Lewis) will be too much for Pavlik. Paul can out box him, or come forward and blow him out the water. Trust me. Do not be surprised if this fight looks like the 2nd Quintana one only a few rounds later.

My question is, after Paul destroys Pavlik, what will the excuse be? "Pavlik became an alcoholic, he looked off" etc. Paul makes great fighters look average and he will always be hated on. Keep hating. He will destroy Pavlik. Bob Arum must be sick of Leow and Pavlik's Dad to set this fight up.

If PWill can take Pavlik's power he will win no doubt, but I am having a hard time conceptualizing Paul landing one hard shot and knocking Pavlik flat......Pavlik does have a good chin.

It will be a combination of straight lefts and right hooks. Look at the combo he knocked out Kolle with. A right hook to the body, head, then a straight left. That **** is nasty and rarely seen by any southpaws ever.

The fight with Kolle was really impressive, but B-hop landed several combinations on Pavlik and didn't put him down and he is a LHW with decent power.... Paul doesn't need a ko to win this he just needs not to be ko'd himself.

I definitely agree. The thing with Hopkins was he didn't try to finish Pavlik. He was content with making him look ******. If Hopkins was in his prime he would have got him out of there with ease.

I agree also! But I dnt think he will blow him out early. I think he will punish pav for 10 then jack "hit em in the nuts" loew will be forced to intervene!
